Cairo's international festival for modern dancing, from 3 till 22 June.
The French Cultural Center, 'Ta'awon', and Culture France support Cairo's
international festival for modern dancing which is organized by the Opera House
in Cairo.
Three French dancing groups where invited to participate in this ceremony
which represents the vitality of modern dancing in Egypt. These groups will be
performing special and unique shows in both Cairo and Alexandria.

"Leisure Activities and Spaces in the City of Alexandria". In order to
explore the general patterns of those living in Alexandria, both
Egyptians and foreigners, and how free time is spent in the city, they
have prepared a survey with some questions about leisure behavior.

Time Magazine has published the latest version of the "TIME 100" list
of most influential people. The list, on newsstands Friday, includes Muslim speaker Amr Khaled
in the "Heroes and Pioneers" category. Sometimes called the "Dr. Phil"
or "Billy Graham" of the Muslim world, Amr Khaled hosts a motivational
television program on Iqraa TV,
carried by satellite throughout the Muslim world. His popularity in the
Muslim world is based on his passion and ability to speak in everyday
language about real issues facing young Muslims today. His lectures
often focus on personal development and personal responsibility in
daily life.
